Chicago Music Exchange launches its own new app to buy and sell |

Chicago Music Exchange has launched its first ever app where users can purchase over 14,000 guitars, amps, drums, synths and accessories from a phone.

In addition to buying brand new hardware, users can buy, sell, and trade with each other on the app and receive updates and announcements about the latest releases. It aims to match customers with instruments they might like in real time “before they’re released and/or out of stock.”

The app will also give access to exclusive gear and merchandise only available on the Chicago Music Exchange and you can participate in app-specific product giveaways.

The app also provides notifications tailored to each user’s interests, past purchases, and wishlist items.

These include “exclusive models from major manufacturers, hard-to-find boutique brands, limited-quantity custom boutique models, sought-after vintage collectibles and historically significant musical artifacts,” according to a Press release.

Chicago Music Exchange CEO Andrew Yonke said, “We had a lot of fun brainstorming together to get it right, and I think our efforts show just how easy our app is to use. Having the CME app gives you near instant access to what’s new, and it’s an open door for us to buy your gear anywhere in the world.

The Chicago Music Exchange app is now available for Android and iOS via Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
