VARANASI: The Varanasi District Judge Court which took over the case of the Shringar Gauri cult from the Civil Judge (Main Division) on Wednesday transferred to an expedited court a new motion seeking a ban on Muslims entering the compound of Gyanvapi Mosque.

Apart from banning Muslims from entering the Gyanvapi premises, VVSS demanded that the complex be handed over to the Hindu side with permission to worship the shivling which is believed to have been found in the mosque’s ablution basin during court-mandated hearing. survey.
The petition was received in court by Civil Judge (Main Division) Ravi Kumar Diwakar. VVSS leader Jitendra Singh Visen and his wife Kiran Singh, who is the lead plaintiff in this motion, reached the expedited court shortly after the district judge issued the order.
“As the judge was not present, the court scheduled the next hearing for May 30,” Visen said.
VVSS also supports the five female plaintiffs who filed the original petition for unfettered daily access to the Gyanvapi complex to worship Shringar Gauri.
