In a series of jaw-dropping releases, deadmau5 and Kaskade pull out another banger titled ‘Avalanche’ as part of their collaborative project Kx5. As the duo continue to shape the progressive scene with continued releases, anticipation for their debut album slated for release in 2023 is growing.

Kaskade and deadmau5 have reunited again on their Kx5 project to bring their fans a new track called “Avalanche”. The two pioneers of progressive music never miss their releases, and their latest is a powerful escape into the world of energetic ambient. The mystical vocal beginnings of Jacques French sustains a dramatic build up to a drop we’ll likely hear at festivals around the world. The drums of this new progressive anthem will probably not leave anyone indifferent, so for those who wish a live experience of the duo, their next show at Memorial Coliseum, LA December 10th is a must, and for the biggest fans, they made sure to offer a unique experience package.

Kx5 is a collaboration spanning over a decade and a half. deadmau5 and Kaskade effectively changed the landscape of electronic music when they teamed up for 2008’s slow-burning ‘I remember’ and the influence of their monitoring “Move for Me” cemented their status as pioneers. Both tracks peaked at No. 1 a week apart on Airplay of Billboard’s Dance/Mix show chart. The GRAMMY-nominated artists’ paths then crossed again on the disturbing 2016 show ‘Underneath with me’ with Skylar Gray. ‘Avalanche’ is the latest in a series of highly acclaimed releases – from the atmospheric track ‘Living’ and EDC– launched anthem ‘Take Me High’, Kx5 raises the bar for upcoming electronic music producers. As the hype grows, the time draws closer to the release of their debut album, which is slated for release in 2023.
