Miss Malaika episode 5 to focus on culture and tourism


The Miss Malaika22 Emerald contestants in today’s episode will discuss the importance of culture and tourism for the development of a nation.

The activities the ladies will indulge in are centered around the rich Ghanaian culture, it is the soft and soothing sound of traditional melodies.

There will also be drum beats and a display of traditional clothing as well as education on why the feet and hands are adorned with colored beads by certain cultures.

In an interview with Alberta Dede Mensah, one of the contestants, she noted that the episode was very informative.

“What I can say is that people should be prepared to learn more about Ghanaian foods, where to visit during Christmas, folklore, our music and dance, our festivals, our kings and queens, fashion and our historical/tourist sites. Indeed, we are a land of many, a land of diverse cultures. And diversity, they say, is the spice of life,” she told Graphic Showbiz.

This episode will air today, Sunday on GHOne TV and Mx24 at 9 p.m.
