PARIS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Mobile application publisher and development studio, MWM, today announced the launch of its new publishing business unit focused on the US market with the ambition to become the leading publisher of non-gaming mobile applications. This expansion is another step in MWM’s efforts to create a global ecosystem of talented developers who enable mobile users around the world to use their smartphones to unleash their creativity, instead of using mobile devices to simply consume media. .
With millions of applications released each year, MWM will help new partners reduce noise, become leaders in their respective categories and overcome industry challenges. Most app developers often lack the financial resources and technology stacks to acquire new users, monetize their products, and deploy scalable and targeted advertising strategies. MWM will mitigate these common pain points and embark on a collaborative journey with partners who are also striving to lower the barrier to cutting-edge technology and encourage people to realize their creative visions using their smartphones. .
“At the heart of MWM is the vision to make creativity accessible to everyone without limits,” said Jean-Baptiste Hironde, CEO and co-founder of MWM. “When I was a budding DJ in college over 10 years ago, it was very difficult to get access to the best equipment. It inspired my best friend and I to create Edjing Mix, which allows users to create mixes with smartphones or tablets. Today, MWM doesn’t just make fun apps, it helps developers get the success they deserve by sharing the experience we’ve accumulated since the company was founded. »
Over a decade, MWM has developed user event processing technology that brings together back-end and partner data to create a connected ecosystem of developer resources. This database is complemented by MWM’s machine learning-based predictive technology, which ensures processes are automated and optimized to ultimately enable infinite scaling. MWM has created a platform that helps mobile developers overcome barriers in the app economy by transferring the company’s knowledge of machine learning, rendering, and audio tools, while providing them with service on measure aimed at multiplying the performance of their products.
Additionally, MWM uses data analytics to provide partners with powerful, actionable insights to optimize UI and UX flows, improving retention and expanding reach. Partners gain indirect access to MWM’s partner network, content usage rights, and global licensing agreements it has negotiated for its own apps, giving app makers the freedom to focus entirely on their products rather than personnel, distribution and marketing.
To streamline the selection process between MWM and outside studios, interested companies can self-submit their applications for review during a short testing period. Once partners are selected and onboarded, MWM obtains the publishing right to use, promote, and monetize the partner apps, but the developers retain intellectual property rights to the product. A profit sharing model will be used for the duration of the partnership, this way the risk is shared and both parties are committed to making the product successful. When a partnership is concluded, the developers’ apps will be transferred to their accounts on the iOS app and Google Play Stores and profit sharing will end.
Founded in 2012, MWM has worked extensively with companies such as Google and Apple to increase the visibility of its industry-leading applications in music, photography, video editing and digital art. To date, the company has launched over 50 apps in 180 countries, with over 500 million users worldwide. MWM’s list of award-winning apps includes Edjing Mix, Beat Maker Pro, Color Pop and more. MWM’s US edition offers are now available for developers.
