The PPA presented its awards in Scotland last night (23 November) including three to The Drum, including recognition for its online presence among them.
The annual publishing awards, which took place this year in Edinburgh, saw deputy editor-in-chief Cameron Clarke named editor of the year, while head of the business team, Tehmeena Latif, took home the Rising star and Digital Presence has also been awarded to The Drum.
Stephen Lepitak, Editor-in-Chief of The Drum, commented: “Kudos to the whole team, especially Cameron and Tehmeena for their individual awards after an exceptional year for both. It is especially gratifying that our work online has been recognized as it is truly a company-wide effort that we work on every day of the year, with the goal of making sure we deliver quality content to our international readership.
“Scotland continues to remain important to The Drum as we expand globally, and the many company members who work there will particularly appreciate the recognition of ASF. “
Elsewhere, The Big Issue was named Consumer Magazine of the Year and Business and Consumer Magazine was awarded to Holyrood. The member magazine was awarded to Historic Scotland and the Sunday Post won the newspaper supplement for In10.
