New developments indicate that the SiriusXM app on Android is currently down and not working for most users.
Complaints about the app not working started flooding Twitter and other social media platforms. We have listed some reports below for your reference.

From the reports, it looks like the SiriusXM app for Android stopped working properly a few days ago.
Some users say that the app keeps buffering while others say that the app does not work at all and keeps closing itself.
A few disgruntled Android users have even taken to the Google Play Store to leave negative reviews for the SiriusXM app.
Naturally, having to pay for a service and not being able to use it for a few days would make anyone cringe.
Luckily, the tons of complaints didn’t go unnoticed by the SiriusXM team as they responded to several user complaints stating that they were aware of the issue and were working on a fix.
Although the issue has been officially acknowledged, SiriusXM support has not shared any specific details as to when it will be resolved.

The problem persists even after days. Here is the latest status update from SiriusXM Support on Twitter:
We are aware of an issue that may affect your listening experience on the Android app. Our engineers are aware of this and are working on it. Thank you for your patience.
Update 2 (August 12)
Many SiriusXM users have taken to Twitter again claiming that the app hasn’t worked for them for some time now.

Even Downdetector has seen a spike in reports of SiriusXM not working.

6:32 p.m. (IST): Reports on Downdetector suggest that the recent issue with the SiriusXM app is apparently resolved.

7:17 p.m. (IST): According to reports on Downdetector, the recent SiriusXM outage is now resolved.
Update 7 (August 18)
11:12 a.m. (IST): SiriusXM is currently down or not working according to the Downdetector platform, but there is no official acknowledgment on the issue yet.
4:16 p.m. (IST): SiriusXM Support on Twitter acknowledged their app’s recent outage and confirmed that engineers are currently working to resolve it.
