The Veronicas Tease Their Highly Anticipated Collab With Blink-182 Drummer Travis Barker

Veronicas duo Lisa and Jess Origliasso teased a collab with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker on Thursday.

Jessica, 34, snapped the rocker, 46, playing the keyboard next to a producer at a Los Angeles music studio.

She uploaded the photo to her Instagram, alongside other random photos from her day and captioned it: “Caring and running my business.”

Lisa, 34, commented on the photos saying, “In love with this whole thread” although she made no mention of the rock drummer being in the studio with her twin sister.

In 2018, Travis hinted at an earlier collaboration when he tagged the Australian-born music duo in an Instagram Story late that year.

The following year, The Veronicas confirmed on The Music Podcast that they had recorded new music with Travis and had more to come with him and producer John Feldmann.

Jessica said they reached out to John, 55, who was the founder of Goldfinger, which included Travis as drummer, and producer of the Grammy-nominated album from Bink-182, California.

‘We put the songs together, but yes, we work even more with [Barker] and John, she said.

One of those songs, Silent, appeared on The Veronica’s 2021 album Godzilla.

This follows Travis’ surprise appearance at his friend Machine Gun Kelly’s concert at The Forum in Inglewood last Wednesday night.

Kourtney Kardashian’s husband performed on drums, surprising thousands of fans in attendance.

It came after the musician was rushed to hospital late last month after developing a severe case of pancreatitis apparently caused by an endoscopy he had undergone a week earlier.

“After dinner I developed excruciating pain and have been hospitalized ever since,” he wrote in an Instagram post.

“During the endoscopy, I was removed from a very small polyp in a very sensitive area, usually handled by specialists, which unfortunately damaged a critical pancreatic drainage tube. This resulted in severe life-threatening pancreatitis.

He concluded by sharing how “very, very grateful” he was to feel “much better” after “intensive treatment”.
